Photos of my pond area (Summer 2017).
The pond is very small and has about 9 goldfish (I would have preferred a wildlife pond, but this was here when we moved in). I have 3 small apple trees and 3 blueberry bushes, which all provide a bit of fruit. It is one of the few sunny areas in the garden, though it still gets the north and west wind in the winter, so plants can get damaged. Bushes include Deutzia, Myrtus and Hydrangea which all flower at times in the summer. A Geranium Rozanne is one of my favourite perennials. |
