In addition to PROGRAM changes, a number of changes have also been made to the Ideas Genie FILE STRUCTURE. If you received your copy of Ideas Genie in 2002 you will need to apply
these changes to take advantage of new features. Please print this page and follow the instructions below.

Step 1
Click HERE to download the latest Ideas Genie Menu. Make sure Ideas Genie is NOT running on your computer.

If you start up Ideas Genie AFTER you have completed Step 1 you will find a new program listed on the system tab of the menu called Special-GA901.
System > Special-GA901
Dont try to run it yet.Continue to Step 2

Step 2
Click HERE to download the Special program GA901. Note that the download program is called GA901-S02
|

Step 3
When you have completed all of the above, start up Ideas Genie and run the special program GA901. The initial screen will be GA901S02. Follow the instructions on that
screen.
This will reformat your personal database files.

What the special program GA901-S02 does:
Genus names are converted from UPPER case to Proper throughout the database. This is the recommended format for plant names.
You will be able to Define and Print Plant Lables using program GA004.
You will also
be able to enter and store data for Pests and Diseases per Genus using GA004 and GA022.

download any single program and start using it right away.
