I think... Brrrr! but on closer inspection our feathered friend doesn’t look too cold. The blackbirds and thrushes love berries when the hard weather arrives. If you want to help provide some winter nourishment, grow Hollies, Pyracantha and Cotoneasters. They look good in bloom in spring and early summer and provide an abundance of berries in autumn which remain largely untouched until the harder weather arrives in winter.
