Garden Clubs The Hammond Garden Club Founded in 2001 and federated with The Gardening Club of Indiana, USA.
This club has a very enthusiastic membership with meetings, events and plant sales organised by the executive team, Dolly Foster, Nancy Dokytsz, Kathy Johnston and Bernadette Fortuna.
A great initiative, and a great idea for other Garden Clubs, is their decision to team up with the Hammond Parks Foundation to beautify the city, in a project aptly called “The Plantings in the Park”.

Norman is an international Rose judge. Read about the Year of the Rose. The International Rose Trials judging are held each July. Who picked up the awards?. Check it out here. Oh yes!!! Turn on your sound and hear a very nice Irish tune. Norman changes this regularly.
