Ideas for Gardens

Willing to contribute photos for display on this site? We, and our regular visitors and contributors would very much appreciate your help in making this focal point for discerning gardeners a success. The emphasis here is on plants in a garden environment, not in their natural location. A snap of that one in your garden would be very much appreciated. Please give as much detail as you can about the plant and the photo.

Acer palmatum dissectum ‘Garnet’

Grown by:- George Kelly

Location:- Co Down,  N Ireland

Season/Date taken:- Spring 17th April 2001

Photo Reference:- IGC00010

Spring growth hangs like a wilting little ball. I’m not sure this is how it should look, but I’ve talked to my supplier and he’s told me it could be normal for a plant in a greenhouse.. I’ve asked him to have a look at this photo. Will keep you posted.            Update 11th June - It died!!!! Too busy with this web site to take it to the doctor!
